NORTHRIDGE, CA-Women strive to make change in the world and there is progress being made.

To be a woman of change is beautiful thing. It is hard work but it’s not impossible, not mission impossible. Women of change push through wind and waves to break social norms. One wave two waves three waves four, as women work to break down the patriarchal doors.

First wave women got the right to vote. Second wave women opened the door reproductive rights. Third wave paved the way for gender equality. Fourth wave women reigned to make change on the internet. To be a woman of change is a beautiful thing. To those on the outside looking in, a woman of change may be a strange thing. Though it may be hard to stay above the waves, when women band together as allies they can ride the waves of change.
